This section allows you to check and alter the registry specific settings for your domain. You need to use this facility with care as altering certain registry settings may cause your domain to malfunction.
UK domains (co.uk, org.uk etc.,) have a simpler registry than most other domains. You can change the Delegation (nameservers) to keep your domain with us and host it elsewhere (note you can also use the DNS Editor to host your website and/or email elsewhere also) or transfer control away using the Change tag option.
Most other domains held with us will have a similiar format to the one below. You still have owner details but also a admin contact which is really only used for transfer and will generally be your own details again. You can change the Delegation (nameservers) to keep your domain with us and host it elsewhere (note you can also use the DNS Editor to host your website and/or email elsewhere also) or transfer away if you prefer.
Registry interface unavailable
The main reason you will see this is on domains we do not manage. This means we have no control of the domain renewals and the nameservers – contact your current domain registrar for help of this. You can also see this when a domain has expired so check the WHOIS to make sure the domain is still active. Occassionally this may also come up if their is a problem at the registry – if this happens then just try back in an hour or so. These issues are normally seen and corrected quickly.
